Compression Engineer

We are seeking a Compression Engineer to provide expert consulting services to our clients in the natural gas sector. This role involves working closely with clients to design, optimize, and evaluate their natural gas compression systems. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the technical and operational efficiency of projects, contributing to our clients' success in the competitive energy market. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Design, analyze, and recommend compression systems including electric or natural gas-powered reciprocating and centrifugal compressor applications tailored to clients' specific needs and requirements in the natural gas sector.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing compression system capabilities and integrate new or additional equipment as client identified opportunities for additional capability or optimization increase efficiency and reduced operational costs.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for natural gas transportation, and storage.
• Provide expert advice and technical support on compression-related issues, ensuring the highest level of service and client satisfaction.
•  Competency for various horsepower compressor performance applications and equipment capability.
•  Lead safety and risk assessment studies to ensure the integrity and compliance of compression system designs and operations.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to provide informed recommendations to clients.

 Requirements:

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• Demonstrated experience in the natural gas sector, with a strong focus on compression system design and optimization.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred. Candidates without a PE license must be willing to pursue licensure.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a consultative approach to addressing client needs and challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to clients and stakeholders.
